I received a PhD from University of Reading at the end of 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Gavin Brooks.  My PhD was about “ibuprofen treatment has capacity to promote differentiated phenotype of coronary vascular smooth muscle from synthetic” therefore, ibuprofen has potential to be used in drug eluting stent. After that I worked as a lecturer in haemotology in Tishreen University, Syria. Following that, I worked in the school of Biological science in the University of East Anglia, Norwich, the UK, under the supervision of Prof. Mayer to address how integrin alpha seven deficiency compromises skeletal muscle regeneration capacity on mice satellite cells level. After that I have worked in cancer research in Newcastle University to identify and validate oestrogen-responsive predictive biomarkers in gynaecological cancer. I joined Prof. Trost lab in February 2019.
