Meihan Meng

I joined the Trost Lab as a BBSRC iCASE PhD student with Bruker Daltonics in September 2023. My project is characterising the role of ubiquitylation in endo-lysosomal trafficking by highly sensitive ion mobility mass spectrometry.

Before joining the lab, I completed my BSc in Pharmacy at Jinan University in China followed by an MRes in Biomedical Research at Imperial College London. During my time at Imperial, I studied the novel ubiquitylation mechanisms to regulate IL-1β levels during immune response at the MRC centre. Later, I joined the Institute of Cancer Research and optimised a proximity labelling method, called Biotinylation by Antibody Recognition, with proteomics to map ARID1A interactome for future application in cancer.
