Two new collaborative papers in Nature and Nature Communications!

Great collaborations with the van den Berg-Lab and Lowe-Lab leading to fantastic papers in Nature and Nature Communications, respectively!

Super work from Tiaan and Andy! Well done!

Two exciting industrially funded PhD studentships available!

We have two industrially funded PhD studentships available within the EPSRC-funded Mosmed CDT with start date in Sept 2023.

Applicants should be interested/experienced in mass spectrometry. Usually, we would expect applicants to have a masters.

The first project is with GSK to develop exciting “Mass spectrometry approaches to address capability gaps in drug discovery for membrane transporters”.

There will be a placement at GSK and the use of exciting novel technology.

The second project is with Boehringer Ingelheim to assess drug performance in vivo by establishing proteomics-based target engagement methods. We will also characterise new disease models.
This will include a placement at Boehringer Ingelheim in Germany.
