I became part of Matthias’ lab in June 2019 as a Research Associate and my work involves to be a part of collaborator projects where proteomics methodology is required.
I previously obtained my PhD from University of Pune, India in the lab of Dr. Srikanth Rapole at the National Centre for Cell Science(NCCS). My PhD project involved characterization of novel potential biomarkers in breast cancer using mass-spectrometry based proteomics. After completion of my PhD I joined Institute of Bioinformatics, Bangalore, India in May 2018 where I worked for one year on discovering biomarkers of Spinocerebellar Ataxia-2 using proteomics methodology.
